Trouble?

The three things everyone asks.

If your answer isn't here, the setup agent on /welcome can fix it live, or email Brian at brian@louieauto.com.

My OS says "unknown developer" or "can't be opened" +
Mac: Right-click (or Control-click) the LouieAuto app in your Applications folder, choose Open, then click Open again on the warning. You only have to do this once.

Windows: When SmartScreen pops up, click More info then Run anyway. The installer is code-signed but our publisher reputation is still building — this disappears once SmartScreen has seen enough installs.
Where do I find my license key? +
Three places, in order:
1. The email receipt sent from billing@louieauto.com right after checkout.
2. The /welcome page (Stripe redirects you here after payment — your key is in the right rail).
3. Email brian@louieauto.com and we'll resend it within the business day.
I already had a previous version — what happens to my data? +
Updates are in-place. LouieAuto auto-updates on launch — the installer detects your existing data directory (~/.louieauto/ on Mac / Linux, %APPDATA%\LouieAuto\ on Windows), backs it up, and migrates the schema. Nothing to do on your end. If something looks off after an update, see /support.
