Download the installer

Not sure which Mac you have? Click the Apple menu → About This Mac. If it says "Apple" anywhere, use Apple Silicon.

Run the installer

Mac: Double-click the .dmg. Drag LouieAuto to Applications. Eject the disk image. Open LouieAuto from Applications — if you see "unknown developer", right-click it and choose Open.
Windows: Double-click LouieAuto-Setup-3.5.2.exe. If SmartScreen blocks it, click "More info" → "Run anyway". Accept the install location (or change it), click Install, wait ~ 60 seconds.

Paste your license key

First launch shows an activation panel. Paste the license key (right rail →) and click Activate. LouieAuto checks the key online, then unlocks the full platform. Activation is good for life — you can move the app to a new computer any time.

Connect your DMS

Once activated, the in-app setup wizard asks which DMS you use (CDK / Reynolds / DealerSocket / Tekion / VinSolutions / standalone / other). Most dealers start with the CSV email import path — we'll show you exactly which report to set up in your DMS. API integration is available where the vendor allows it.
